Scheduled Annual Event: S.A.C.(Special Athletic Challenge) 9AM-2PM (May, 2011) - Chicago Northwest Lions holds this annual event at Oriole Park; two park districts bring their specially challenged teams to compete in basketball & floor hockey (between the two activities, the players are treated to lunch). Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer on the teams. Hot dogs and "Sloppy Joe's" can be purchased at lunchtime by anyone who wishes to attend.
Corned Beef & Cabbage adult dinner dance)- (2011) 1st Saturday in March at Saranecki's Garden Manor - Banquet Hall at 4722 W. Armitage in Chicago (just east of Cicero Ave).
